Meet Justin Webb, LCMHCA

Hey there! I’m Justin and I provide therapy services for individuals, couples, and families across North Carolina. My approach to therapy emphasizes psychological flexibility, the importance of relationships, and accessing the core-self. Specific approaches that inform my practice are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused treatments. My belief is that everyone has the capacity to live the life they want.. and that happens through effort and committed action, not by accident.
Despite what we tell ourselves, starting therapy does not have to be weird or awkward, instead, it is exactly what we make. My aim is to develop a strong and secure relationship with clients so that they feel safe and comfortable as we work toward goals. Here is a little more about my style:
I balance compassion with gentle challenge: I care, and sometimes the best way to show it is with direct and honest communication.
I’m curious: I am going to ask questions, sometimes they may be difficult.
I’m laid back and professional: I gravitate toward a causal approach while also integrating evidence based research, skills, techniques.
Think we’re a good match? If you’re looking for a therapist in North Carolina (Charlotte, Asheville, etc.) and you’re cool with online counseling, book an appointment.

How I Can Help
If you’re someone who’s motivated to grow and ready to face the challenges in your life, I’m here for it. Together, we’ll work on understanding yourself better, developing strong judgment, and living more in line with your values. I use specific approaches to help you gain clarity, build self-awareness, and practice mindfulness. We’ll explore your deeper emotions, understand your attachment patterns, and focus on creating secure, trusting relationships. In the end, you’ll feel more connected, confident, and at peace with the choices you make.
